Here's to season two being just as funny, insightful, heartwarming, and over-the-top ridiculous. (Spoiler alert!)
1. When the show didn't shy away from talking about immigration reform. Jane the Virgin doesn't take a lot that seriously (not even itself), but the show did make a point to highlight the seriousness of "medical repatriation," which sometimes happens when undocumented immigrants who end up in the hospital are deported to save medical costs in the U.S.
2. Any time Jane's grandmother would speak to her in Spanish, and Jane would respond in English. Any Latina who grew up in the U.S. speaking English as a first language can relate to this.
